Please help. I have the jade hair ornament and have exhausted all dialogue. All he keeps saying is “perhaps it won’t be long before things return back to normal” and won’t even bother to ask for the ornament, which I have in my inventory. I’ve tried asking forgiveness, reloading the game and nexus but to no avail. Any pointers?

I was with the same problem. Is it on your "usable" inventory or is it on the "stored", the one with he keeps? For me, the Jade ornament was actually stored. I just transferred to my actual inventory and could give it to him.
