Well, i just used dual swords, put purity buff on my weapon, use some others Onmyo Buffs and spam the god of wind move (heavy atk after a light atk with proper timing) and this guy was totally washed. This also works for every human boss, i killed Yorimitsu later on with this combo exactly 111° times for that goddamn Sword Skill (about 10 to 15 seconds to kill her if the RNG of her moves helps, switch purity for corruption and water, procs confusion and she's dead). Remember that on Human bosses, you want to reduce their Ki as fast as possible, so build your fight around that goal, and if the move is fast enough like God of Wind, you can lock the boss on guard for the entire fight IF you have the correct timing

He's weak to the odachii ground attack (heavy attack while blocking, AOE ability) and to the odachii deflect ability (light attack while blocking you do a deflect then follow up attack).

Other than that circle strafe constantly and hope you can corner cheese him for his final phase when he constantly activates barriers while being super aggressive with no recovery on anything I.e. your 'window' is his attack or cast

after 4 or 5 days of at least 10 deaths each i finally beat this guy ! ugh!
i think i just got lucky, tbh, but i started dodging toward him rather than away and that helped a ton. switch glaive, lightning talisman, grappled him in yokai mode , damn, what a relief

A terrible, unbalanced fight, unlike the player, he can attack cancel, chain 8 attacks together, spam magic, devlop hyper armour & lastly one-shot you through guarding, he's not worth fighting honestly

He's fast, very damn fast, much faster than the player and with a bigger weapon with a lot of reach and can drop casts, damage negation buffs and, dodge and cast new attacks on a dime... He's also very resistant to water and fire. Weak to lightning, very easily staggered by most attacks, but can sometimes power through with hyper armour if he feels like it. Annoying, very annoying opponent.

he seems kind of weak against lightning, lightning shots did like 700 dmg each (and slowed him down) (28 onmyo power) (in comparison water did 30 dmg haha)

finally beat him by just hugging the boss and spamming sweeping kick, grapple, then focused strike (tonfa), while blocking and dodging behind him. kept my ki at at least 30%
