Idk about the moveset, but it looks a bit more like a Balmung than a Dyaus Pita. On the other hand it probably wouldn't make sense timeline wise to have an Ashborn in CV, so I guess it is a Dyaus Pita.

They got flack for using copy-paste bosses for the first two DLCs, and their reaction was to copy paste another boss, but then cover him in vomit and fur so that you can't read his moves at all.

How are they copy paste bosses exactly? GE and CV are completely different types of games, having bosses that are similar in both of these genres is actually really impressive and it also just makes sense lore wise. The DLCs get a lot of hate for their lack of content because of their price, but I've never seen anyone complain about the bosses.

This boss can’t be as hard as I’m making it. First phase goes perfectly fine, second phase has this single attack where he shoots electricity all over the floor, runs around, and then strikes the entire arena, it always kills me. Am I just terrible? Or is someone else having the same problem?

There's more than one phase? Using wolf king sword and queens gambit build can kill it in 30 seconds

i ve beat him easely with a mage build (and done the Omega And Alpha Challenge) with the Ice turret and the tri-ice projectile autofollowing. If you time well your Projectile to the head you can beat him in less than a minute on the first difficult tier. And i ve niticed that i ve canceled all his 'angry" stages , i ve literraly turn him down.
i think he is the easiest to get the Omega and Alpha Challenge done

debuff wise he is only vulnrable to poison as far as i can tell
