to be honest that's a fair complaint, i absolutely adore the majority of the game but it does suffer from **** and generally cheap stuff quite a lot. like with pure vessel, it's a great boss in general but gives you almost no time to react to some of its attacks. the general response of 'git gud' is fair, when gitting gud is a realistic option. how does one 'git gud' at snakes and ladders? get lucky. which seems to be what it boils down to for a lot of bosses. hope you get good patterns and kill it before it kills you. which is not to say it's unenjoyable, but it does suck away from the experience a fair bit.

Do you not understand what subjective taste are saying this game is not worth praise is like me saying your favorite game is over praised. Also the bosses aren't unavoidably fast you just have to learn their tells and use the right charms. I have seen every single boss and i have not seen one boss that fills the screen with their attacks are you playing a kaizo romhack of hollow knight? because it's not that hard.

To the person who is agreeing with this guy. Comparing hollow knight to snakes and ladders is ****ing stupid. Boss patterns are ****ing different from rolling a dice and hoping you land on the right space. Also have you seen top players they can no hit bosses avoiding their "****" you know why? Because they got gud. You can get good at this game because well it's a video game unless you live in a world that goes by at 50 times speed that's the only way i could see you thinking the bosses are extremely cheap or difficult. Please don't take this personally and you can git gud at hollow knight because it's well and video game and not a board game good day sir.

I am responding to the person who said hollow knight is sort of luck based or like a board game. Again, you can have your own oppinions, but the bosses have there own predictable attacks and I think are well designed. People who get mad about hard bosses in this game can allways get gud, or go exploring to find charms or upgrades. I'm a good way through God home and I know what it feels like to suffer in this game, ( Nightmare King Grimm ) but a few people friken beat Any Radiance ( if you don't know what that is look it up ) and that was DESIGENED to be imposible so be quiet.

Ah... Jokes aside, the Radiance has a method and pattern of fighting, like all HK bosses, and there are many ways of defeating him. Check out his boss page here, as there are a ton of tips listed there.

It isn’t a character’s name. “The Herald” is Mr. Mushroom, and by equipping the Spore Shroom Charm you can speak to him. He appears in several locations all over Hallownest. Once you’ve found and spoken to him with the Spore Shroom charm in all locations, he will leave Hallownest, and you will get this achievement after you beat the game in any way - there will be a... well, rather strange cutscene that will let you know that you’ve completed the Mr. Mushroom quest.
