Fifty percent offing FORMATING ISSUES!!! (Fextralife is going to ban me for spaming, but whatever!)

Name: Poison Duelist
Stats: 55 vig 18 mind 30 end 10 str 42 dex 15 fai 38 arc
Weapon(s): Poison Rogers Rapier, Dragon Communion Seal.
Shield: Coil Shield
Armor: Page helm, Roin Armor, Hoslow Gauntlets, and leather Greaves. Spells: FGMS, Rotten Breath, Poison Mist, and Bestial Vitality.
Infusible Weapon Arts: Poison Moth Flight.
Flask spread: 2 Mana, the rest HP
Talismans: Shard Of Alexander, Great Jars Arsenal, Kindred Of Rot’s Exultation, And Either Blue dancer charm, OR (If you’re good at managing your health) the ritual sword talisman.

The way this build works is that you set poison on enemies super fast with the viper bite skill, poison mist, heavy attacks, r1’s, and feint attacks. Then you 2 hand the rapier or switch to the left hand seal to use poison moth flight and pop the poison.

So talking about strategy’s for boss fights, use beastial vitality and enter the fog gate. Then use rotten breath and refresh your FP. Then use FGMS and viper bite once or twice. Then use poison moth flight and then charged, uncharged, and feint —> backstep attacks to deal regular damage and FGMS —> poison moth flight when you poison an enemy. Have fun! -Palico.

If this repost doesn’t work I’m gonna just leave it, sorry. Have a good day/night!

You can powerstance the Gargoyle’s blackblade and the sword from Rykard (Forgot it’s name). Swap right and left hand depending on what enemies are resistant to as well as if you need the speed of the blackblade or not.

Name: Bleeding star of faith
Primary weapon great star
Shield any that allows skill of primary
Secondary claw talisman
Armor any that allows med rolling need good poise
Incantations ekzykey decay, golden vow, ancient dragon lightning strike , swarm of flies
Flask mixture of both
Primary stats strength and faith
Secondary vigo , mind endurance
The idea of this build is be aggressive have a skill like Lion claw to break stance easily but have incantations in case the opponent needs to be taken care of from a distance or they like to run from you

Omg, such an amazing guide!!!!!
I'm currently building my PC, and immediately starting playing, and this guide made me want to play even more, with all the amazing and comprehensive builds in it.
After days(literally, before even downloading the game) I managed to narrow down the paths I wanna play(or try) to 3(+ a few extra builds which I really wanna try).
But although those builds seem to have a progressive path, I cant really understand how, since the stat distribution doesn't seem coherent for me.
My paths are:
1) Berserker -> Champion -> Hellfire Herald -> Blasphemous Herald
2) SpellBlade -> Magus -> DarkMoon SpellBlade -> Moonlight Crusader
3) Dragon Priest -> DarkFlame Apostle -> DarkFlame SpellBlade -> Dragon Warrior

For example- Berserker focuses on END and Vigor,(and STR + Dex) but Champion on END and STR (and Vigor + Mind)

So how do I actually make a smooth path between them?

Name: Frozen duelist

Class: Any, but warrior is ideal

Flask spread: All HP

Weapon: Frozen needle

Shield: Magic Ice crest shield

Armor: Page helm, Rowin chest piece, Bloodsoaked gauntlets, and the Leather boots

Talismans: Great-jars arsenal, spear talisman, erdtree favor +2, and green turtle talisman

Primary stats: Dex and endurance

Secondary Stats: vigor and … I don’t know, it’s not a stat heavy build.

Items: Spark aromatics and Frost pots

The way this build works is that you will focus on the heavy attacks to deal good damage and frostbite buildup from range.

One of the main things that will for sure elevate this build is this: if you are charging the heavy attack and the enemy goes for a hit that they will for sure miss, do the feint attack. (Dodge button while charging the heavy)
That will make the projectile hit them while they are attacking, letting you take full advantage of the spear talisman and counter attacks in general.

Use the rest of your toolkit to make up for the thrusting sword classes shortcomings

For example, if you have a hard time getting crits, use the parry. Is stance pressure the issue? Rock throw is the key. Are you feeling defenseless? Turtle behind the shield. Need a gap closer or a shield punisher? Two hand the sword and use impaling thrust. Low damage? Use FGMS.

Avoid multi-target situations like the plague and hardswap to the icerind hatchet if you need an subpar AOE.

Sorry for any grammar mistakes or confusion in general, and I hope you enjoy the build!

Edit: Use the spark aromatics to do elemental damage and to reset frost.

Primary stats: Dex and endurance
Secondary Stats: vigor and … I don’t know, it’s not a stat heavy build.
Skills: Carian retaliation
Spells: Bestial vitality, Flame grant me strength, Stone of Garanqu, and rejection.
Items: Spark aromatic x10 and Frost pot x10

The way this build works is that you use the Frozen needle as a midrange weapon while focusing on the heavy attacks. If an enemy is gonna miss an attack and you’re charging your heavy, do a feint attack to let the projectile out early and take advantage of the spear talisman and counter attack damage. Use the rest of your toolkit for all the shortcomings thrusting swords have. Can’t break stance? Rock throw. Hart to get crits? Parry. Feel defenseless? Shield poke. Low damage? FGMS. Just avoid multi-target scenarios like the plague, but if you’re forced into one (Like needing to kill the godskin duo to progress), hardswap to the ice rind hatchet and use harorfrost stomp as a subpar AOE.

Sorry for any typos, and I hope you enjoy the build!
