Nah that's too overpowered. Guaranteed they're going to roll back the dmg on that one in the next available patch.

Starting Class: Bloody Wolf
40 Vigor
40 Endurance
40 Strength

Weapon: (Heavy) Claymore
Shield: Iron Roundshield (Parry)

how much flat defense did you obtain from lvl endurance to 40?

I think I'd go with 35 VIG / 30 END or even 30 VIG / 30 END and put the free points in STR to get 60. You will most likely get lower scaling after 40 STR, but you'll still get more damage in. And I do think that's kinda the point of pure STR builds, no?

Depending on what the magic all looks like I might go with a full caster build (Sorceries and incantations) with a backup melee weapon. If not I go half caster (probably with sorcery) and have a better secondary melee weapon.

In the page for INT, it says it increases your total FP PLUS strengthens scourcery. Meaning you dont need much mind. FAITH doesnt do that tho :(

Nah, spell slots are obtained by progressing through the game; specifically it seems like they are rewarded by defeating area bosses / mini bosses
