this guy Immune to stun
just one-shot this beast with 30k damage, who's the real berserker now?! can i one shot every normal boss in this game with my hyper mode build?! only one way to find out!
You're gonna have to cum inside me.
I'm sure this is your crowning achievement in life.
you can cheese this boss by stun-lock him with backstab
Yes you can. Well done! ... And in the words of so many people: "So Easy!" ... *proceeds to cheese and backstab him to death* ... Well done!
One of the easiest boss. I thought it was hard initially, then I realize I could just wait and parry every single one of his attacks...
Translation: "He was easy once I starting cheesing like a skrub"
How is parrying 'cheesing'? You literal buffoon. You massive idiot.
Spamming parries instead of straight up fighting him is a total ***** move lmao and saying he's easy just because you're spamming him is just pathetic. And I believe the 11 people that downvoted you would agree with me. Parrying is broken in this game. Actually git gud skrub.
Parrying all his attacks IS straight up fighting him and there's nothing ***** about it. How ignorant of you to say "git gud" to someone who is good at parrying. The fact that someone is able to parry all of his attacks is proof that they ARE good you worthless moron. What's "pathetic" is that you define parrying, the definitive risk/reward strategy, as cheap. If someone is good at parrying they deserve to win and it's arrogant of you to look down your nose at them just because you don't like parrying. Shame on you. Pull your head out of your *** and learn your place.
Git guddddd
Sorry but parry to death is pure cheese! Yes: Parrying takes *something*. But to destroy a boss using nothing BUT this tactic. Like the tactic of backstabbing this: CONSTANTLY. No one is impressed. "oh i thought he was hard - until i backstabbed him into oblivion" ...

Get a life.

Everyone replying makes it sound like parrying is nothing but cheese that takes no skill and i don't get that. A parry is pressing a button when an enemy attacks to get an attack in, which is the same as pressing the dodge button and then attacking. Both require proper timing and knowing the enemy enough to know when to dodge/parry.
the annoying thing about this boss fight is not the fight itself but the path to it, I can take dying several times to get used to a boss' pattern but having to go through 4 of those teleporting chicks just to challenge it again is a massive pain
After getting lost for 10 hours in the Cathedral prior to that fight, you should be able to parry those teleporting attacks in your sleep. I sure can. Send help.
it was annoying but not impossible, I don't rely on parrying as some micro stutter happens when a mob uses flashy attacks so I'd rather block everything or spam dodge like my life depends on it. Before NG+ I can just blast them with a roar or other similar gifts before a fight ensues but it's different when 1 shoting them's no longer an option. Coupled that you can't use a back door to get a drop on the aforementioned teleporting mobs(you can on one but that still leaves 3 out of the 4 of them) and that previous boss fights don't require you to engage mobs between the boss room and the mistle(I tried using camouflage but I still get targeted), this section of the game is just quite an annoyance. it would've helped if they put the mistle outside the boss room instead of after it but hey, I'm just a normie that barely played any of the soulsborne titles.
My thoughts exactly. Those guys are a pain in the ***, ****, balls, AND butthole.
Hey... um~ get good
Hey... um~ Stfu. Idiot.
just roll and backstab lol
Use the item "Camouflage" and you won't get aggro, the girl next to the car sells them for 700
Its not a wolf, its a knight!
wow yakumo heals me, but only after I've died... broken
That’s how it’s supposed to be for the ai
No. Yakumo best boi. You suck
Nah, that's normal, don't worry c:
Yak Yak is a meatheaded idiot.
For me, a distance and speed attack with the bayonet doesn't work. However, heavy weapons with stagger are very effective. You can use the "hug tactic for this as well." With a low chance of backstabbing, I got used to positioning myself like I was about to stick my hand up its butt in order to get a backstab . Yeah sure, it's cringe but taking this advice from others in comments and reddits actually helped. I also waited for my partner to go and distract it first before I rolled behind and attacked. I couldn't wait too long or my partner would die. These tactics and heavy weapons secured my win, and I hope it helps those new or trying this boss again.
it's like the devs showing mercy after the mazes of Cathedral
