Mainly because you have to fight two at once in the depths...and they are fast enough as it is.

There are a couple of invasions at the Cathedral I just stay away from, and that was maybe 50 levels ago. I don't even care now.

Seem's like the only way to remove their ice buffs, is through the use of fire, such as flame weapon.

Fire doesn't actually seem to remove the ice armour- at least, blasting them with a Blazing Roar doesn't appear to.

I HATE that we have to fight two at once. Because one of them always has to blindside me for some reason while I try to whittle down the other one...even with flame weapon...

first, use a fionn winter mantle and the buff ice armor
second, make sure you have fire storm (super early skill from promethius) it instantly breaks their ice armor since its 6 hits of fire damage, 3rd i suggest opening with a MASSIVE damage opening attack on one with Flashing Fang active (heavy attack from any 2hand sword, heavy attack from Dammerung, etc)

Nah, just did it. *******, yes, but use the fire weapon buff form Prometheus and 5 hits take the armor off. Slight stagger too.

Found the way, one fire spell and then hit with melee weapon, their ice armor shatters then
