In vanilla these are ng+ only or even ng+ flexile sentry only (never really bothered to start ng+, though I'll get to it eventually; I'm sure though that they don't ever spawn in ng) which this **** site doesn't mention

In vanilla two shadows appear in the flexile sentry boss room on Ng+. One of them was also a unique varient with a different mask. In SoTFS they are everywhere and the unique varient only appears in the Flexile sentry boss room on ng+.

I actually missed when their armor was impossible to obtain on vanilla version. Made you feel great when you got the set and became an assassin.

Unfortunately yes I had killed dozens of these guys without a drop and thought they didn't drop anything until I saw it here
