if you get the dancing dragon mask you can upgrade your attack power with five skill points

About +11 (main bosses) and realistically with the mask. . . About +5 more, but that's 25 skill points to farm. But with time and patience and sweet spots to farm you could in theory max it at 99.

Is it just me sucking or mini bosses and main bosses scale with you? In this wiki, it mentioned you can cheese O'rin with Sebimaru, I tried it, but not very effective lol. I just beat her the old fashioned way of learning her moves...

Did you use the advanced Sebimaru which has guard piercing attacks? I did it your way, because I dont like cheesy tactics which probably won't work in later NG+s.... and I don't want to learn their moves when they oneshot me with every hit.

You can cheese her an even easier way though, if you bait her across the bride she literally doesn’t even attack

Do Combat Arts even receive the damage buff from Attack Power? In NG+ even the highest tier Arts hit like wet noodles unlike the basic R1.

Because the mobs scale with you, I think it actually doesn’t matter what so ever sadly

The mobs don't scale with you. At 12 I'm one-shotting mobs in the estate. I wasn't one shot ting them when I first got there.

Unlike in Dark Souls, there's no real alternative to upgrading your health and attack power, so just do it every time you get a memory/enough prayer beads.

How many skill points does it cost to increase attack power once you have the mask?

What about the numbers between 11 and 97? Where are the scaling breakpoints?

14, 27 and 51 are the softcaps, with damage per point dropping off drastically at each cap. CptBrian in the comments below did a spreadsheet where he crunched the numbers (Link: pastebin com/raw/U06XyqZ3 )

After two finished playtroughs i decided to get my last fun out of cheat shenanigans, so i cheated myself up to 99 Strength, and you basically deal no damage at all, the Vitality of the Mobs scales with your strength level

Jep i basically do no dmg at all to any enemies, either it really does scale that way or its a thing to punish cheaty Bois

The trainer I saw only lets you set attack power between 0-89 and resets if you go over so there's probably something going on when you just go straight to 99.

This information is not true, why is somebody lying? Enemies scale with attack power so their vitality matches your level.

Then what would be the point of Attack Power then lol. You're clearly wrong here.

I one shot everything in the estate at AP 12. The mobs don't scale with your AP. A very minimal test proves that.

Enemies scale with every new game plus cycle (up to NG+7 or whatever the cap is). Nothing to do with player stats.
