This Skill is the reason why the vault over kill move exists since you need to backstab the enemy.

Not just this skill, but all the ninjitsu skills. In all honesty, FROM locking the Vault Over skill until after Genichiro would have gotten rid of a lot of early confusion regarding it.

Backstab, when you see the lock-on dot get bigger press the attack button to activate then Ninjutsu.

What abount bestowal? I know bestowal has a poison effect when used on green geckos, so does cutting people heal them?

If you use it on the white geckos in Fountainhead Palace it creates a healing mist.

Don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but i'm trying to use it in hirata esate second visit, and I can't deathblow mobs after activating. Crouching and getting behind them doesn't work. This a bug?

specifically, i'm in the area where the 3 guys are sat in a circle with 3 ninjas on the roof. try backstabbing closest one, activating it, and trying to get another stealth kill. tried it on all of them, won't work

Yep this is a bug I just came here after encountering it thinking my game or computer were messed up but it's just a bug with the circle of dudes.
