Yeh. Her name is definitely not Japanese, and we know that Sekiro's world will have more than one foreigner too. About the design, she looks really soothing for me somehow.

I hate it. I mean, interracial relationships rock, but why couldn't she have just been Japanese? Are Japanese features not desirable enough? Does everything have to be Westernized to be considered pretty? I just don't get why so many Asians can't accept their own amazing, different features as beautiful.

Whether or not she looks Japanese or not is up to you, but her name definitely IS Japanese. エマ is/was a common Japanese given name, and it's written in katakana because women would not have been taught how to read or write kanji in that era. Also, she's a video game character. So you can relax with your outraged comments about Asian aesthetics.

Yeah after she told me to go and talk to Ashina Isshin she wont let me upgrade my gourd. She also isnt in the Hub anymore obviously. Now im stuck on 2 Seeds i have found since. Havent been to Senpou yet, hopefully that fixes things

You have to listen to Kuro and go and talk to ???, follow their dialogue and she'll resume taking your gourd seeds.

i just got to this shrine with the crazy buddha statue guy for the first time. we 're playing the three of us and for them 2 they have emma there, but she's not here for me. what gives?
