While I was farming for blood gems here I got a radial “Cursed Tempering Damp Blood Gem(4)” [Phys ark up 19% & increase stamina cost 2.7%] from the first of three winter lanterns. I don’t know if it’s rare or not but I just wanted to point this out

If you use the gesture "Make Contact" in front of them they don't attack you, but due to frenzy you still can be dead

Is it any wonder these things blow your brains out? they are like mini-brains of mensis... either that or their appearance is so ugly, and what you are seeing is a defense mechanism of the character's mind to try to blot it out... Personally it doesn't matter which it is, I like to kill them with 99 bloodtinge cannon, buffed with bone marrow ash, and do it before they piss me off. At the end of the day, the best defense against frenzy is to make sure you spend less time thinking of the crap you just saw, trust me.

The only mob in the game you end up accidentally farming simply because you are trying to get past them without dying.
