Is there any reason why it is being added in a DLC and not in the base game to start with?

Fex is right. That and the murder pickle likes to show up when it wants and ruin your hunt.

It's also worth noting that they had to create all of the HD monster assets from scratch rather than porting them from previous games. It'll naturally take longer to develop each monster.

I can't wait to be the lucky guy to have Deviljho and Bazelgeuse in the same map while trying to kill an azure los.
On the plus side I'll likely get to see a popcorn worthy fight of the flying bombing ****** and the killer pickle.

I don't know why, but I'm hopping Gigginox would return too. Problem is that Gigginox are an arctic monster, and we have no snow biome...

"G Rank percentages"? Current Base game has no G rank, does this mean it's coming with Deviljho?
Or is it just a mistake?

That's just leftovers from when the page template was made and we didn't know G Rank wasn't in the game yet.

Why does the community refer to it as the "Giant Pickle"? Im new to monster hunter so i dont really understand

I'm a veteran hunter and I still don't know the exact reason. My current theory is that it's called pickle because if you squint your eyes really hard, Deviljho looks a bit like a pickle with legs.
