Lmao I’ve only just realised the connection between the boss phalanx and this weapon. After beating it’s minions it retreats from you defenseless and unable to harm you just like a player does after you use this spear to drain their durability! Genius.

Its called a Remaster Anon, BluePoint didnt make a 6th Archstone because they didn't feel it was their right to do so. This is FromSoft and Miyazaki's game, not Blue Point, if any new changes were to be added, it would come from the big man. Blue Point has done an amazing job at recreating a PS3 classic and thousands who never got to enjoy it a decade ago will get to enjoy their time in Boletaria, stop being sad because weapons like the Scraping Spear, which are easily countered, are still in the game.

To the latest reply, adding the 6th archstone is outright making new content which is FAR different from tweaking things from the original and in case you haven’t heard they’ve already modified things like healing, world tendency and item burden. I have no issues with the spear but it’s obviously going to be nerfed as it’s the ultimate griefer tool. Lastly it’s a remake not a remaster. Everything you said in your comment was more or less wrong.
