Very late Got 'eem

I got this after like killing 3 of them...

I got it after killing exactly one, on my first playthrough of the DLC AND on a sorcerer. I know, nobody cares.

not sure about that, but you can check it yourself easily. Just compare your weapon's AR with and without the dagger actively equipped

Except that's clearly not the case and you're just acting like a salty DS boomer.

The only thing bad about it is that it has very low base damage, so at +5 it's still super weak. I'm doing a pure mage build with very high int (65) so my plan always is to nuke my enemy before they even have a chance to get close to me. This dagger in my off-hand (or right hand if I'm also using my staff to apply Crystal Magic Weapon to a weapon) allows me to one-shot some tough end-game and dlc enemies. If it did good melee damage then it would definitely be my main weapon. Sure the short range sucks, but i'm pretty good with daggers in melee combat.

Can you read?

it works with all kinds of spells. Sorceries (magic), Miracles (lightning), Pyromancies (fire) and Hexes (dark). It's not difficult to get confused when stupid people refer to all castings as magic, while magic only coresponds to sorceries. We can't blame them for being illiterate though

how would you cast spells ?
defense decrease could stack, but who would ever try this build ? two ordinary dagger would be better in all case compared to two blue daggers

Truly the magic of DS2, so many random *** weapons that drop from obscure enemy types or even drop from only NG+ situations like the Heide Greatlance, its kinda fun in a way
