Sorry but do they think albert einstein is playing this ****? who is figuring out this puzzle on their own?

puzzle is pretty simple, something on a plate activates symbols in a plus pattern, when you overlap activations it advances from 1st, to 2nd, to third symbol depending on amount of overlap. This is very basic problem solving

Well it's definitely not "basic problem solving" but i guess you gotta get your ego inflated somehow.

The "hardest" part of that puzzle is figuring out that you need to use Spirit Vision

Wow this puzzle is awful. I thought that I had to somehow make it so that every sign is the same. I spent a few minutes looking around the room for clues but i've found nothing, and then I've spent 15 minutes on trying to trigger the plates in different ways. Turns out all of it is pointless because it's not a puzzle but a skill check. Without this skill, you will not be able to figure it out on your own; how dumb is that?

Wow wow wow, a place where you have to come back to after you gain somthing in the future?(A skill you can get 10 mins or less after entering driftwood) So dumb.

The skillbooks given aren't fixed, they're random. My necromancer book wasn't Shackles of Pain, but Infect. The question is what the pool is.

Man I wish I would've read your comment before making my decision!? I chose Hunting, for Marksmen Fang. But instead I received Ballistic Shot. Confirming what you said about it being a pool rather than fixed as stated in this guide. In hindsight I should've reloaded a few times just to see what the possibilities are, but truthfully I was fine with Ballistic Shot & wasn't thinking about the opportunity to fix this guides accuracy? Hopefully your comment helps someone else.

It seems to be a random Level 2 skillbook from the class you choose. After "farming" a few times, I got Shackles or Infect from Necro; Whirlwind, Provoke, or Enrage from Warfare; Impalement or Mend Metal from Geo; and Ballistic Shot or Marksman's Fang from Huntsman (didn't test Scoundrel). I don't necessarily know if it's the ENTIRE pool of Level 2 books from each class available, but all the ones I received happen to be alike in that regard.
