I've noticed that when a weapon has multiple scaling of any grade they multiply themselves somehow: Weapons with D-D Scaling deal even mora damage than weapons with a S scaling on whatever.

I think it goes like this: damage scales for a D-D weapon by 150*150/100=225% actual scaling (from 100% damage), while S weapons will generally have about 250% damage. Of course it's comparable, lower rated weapons have higher base AR...

Occult stats list two different scaling values depending on whether you look in the big table or the occult tab. Please fix.

i think it should have a S scaling in str. i mean after all the stronger you are the more damage this does, right?

By that logic, every weapon where you make physical contact should have S strength.

tbh I think it should have a B/B scaling at the very least, it would balance out the fact this thing has no range and literally the same exact moveset as using no weapon at all.

A reply to the Anonymous saying "By that logic, every weapon where you make physical contact should have S strength." : i don't agree with this. A cutting sword, like a katana, does not need higher strngth to cut more. It requires a precise angle, so dexterity. A hammer on the other hand would do directly more damage the stronger you swing it. Stabbing weapons would be also dext, perhaps with some str ?
Large/heavy blades would have added damage with str because not only the heavy blade would do some blunt damage on top of the cutting action, but also if cutting a large monster or hard skin/armor, str would help overcome the resistance.
But then a katana would be unable to cut, whatever the dex is, but i guess that in a fantasy setting, the blade is considered perfect, and can cut trough anything if dex is high enough to put the blade exactly where needed...
As for the caestus, i don't know for S scaling, but i see it having scaling in STR and DEX, because to be effective you'd have to aim for precise spots i guess...

I mean it's literally you're fists, it shouldn't take dexterity. Yes you need technique but everything needs technique, Even weapons that don't have dex scaling. I think these should scale pure strength with either A or S

I guess its was decided because then theres a fist weapon for every physical class. I'm ok with this. If you want a strenght fist go for dragon bone.

I punched Andre on accident and he got angry and I want a crystal magic weapon Caestus. You get crystal magic weapon from Logan in the dukes archives if ur wondering. Another thing, if u do not free Logan he will free himself from the archives. Once you buy all his stuff, go to where you first meet seath if you killed seath he will be pretty much naked and will drop white DBreath. Go to the dark room by the moving bookcase, that is where you will find his chest where he sat. Give this a like if it was helpful. Dislike it if you hate me...

My hatred for you, sir, is complete. I hate you for everything you are, I hate you for everything you do. If there was a “World’s Most Hated Person” contest you would definitely come second... I’m not letting you win because I hate you.

HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.
