The stone knights are also a blueish tint compared to the normal statues.

I don't fully get how you're supposed to fight these melee. They're easy to deal with by just luring them to their max tether range/a corridor and dealing with them 1 v 1, but they all wake up at once so fighting them 1 v 4 when they are so agile doesn't make much sense.

Welcome to Gank Souls II.

You just rush them while they're waking up. If you're fast you can melee all but one or two of them to death before they can trigger.

It is an error. The Clear Bluestone Ring +2 is only dropped from the NG+ skeleton lords.

And Armourer Dennis, apparently. Although, I've never seen that happen in thousands of hours of playing DS2.

I've actually had the ring drop from Dennis for me before, as rare as it is

I know i'm years behind, but they seem to be particulary vulnerable to magic, as I could kill them in a single swing of Soul Greatsword

*******, not on a linear path NG, 60 Int and +4 MSW only does 75-80% hp. I even killed 3 Persuers to get the titanite to updgrade the staff and not much difference. Tried Firestorm, Chaos, Fog and run. I beat the first one then run until they chill and pull them one at a time. Coming from battlemage with Drangelic Shield and +10 Magic Mace, which can do the job one on one with these freak ninjas

I got ganked by about 6 at a time by accident and only survived because I was running full havels. The stun lock still meant I was getting beaten to a pulp for the next half a minute
