how much damage is lost for a dex build when infusing with poison ? is it worth it ?

Yes, it's worth it, one of the best poison infused weapons as it loses only 20 base damage and scaling goes from A to B in dex.

Tbh the move set makes up for most drop offs so you can adjust for enemy/armour types. The only problem is the durability, it's great for pvp but you'll want the wood grain ring for pve.

I've done numerous playthroughs on both vanilla and SotFS and I never got this item until just recently because I somehow overlooked that staircase despite completing the milfanito sidequest in most of them.
