Its possible they referred to kalameet, an abyss dragon who haunted the forest that not even anor londo, home of dragonslayers, dared provoke. I do think its funny they added an abyss sragon in ringed city tho lol

No, they do 97 damage, vs 90 for dragonslayer arrows. The tradeoff is with the range, as they are effectively like large arrows or heavy bolts

Different bows = different dmg. Cause scaling and base dmg. But the arrow does 97 and the no dragonslayer arrow does 90
