there are some much better maps out there that would be better than this weird grid based map that doesn't seem to actually make sense

i agree this is my least liked part of the original, its annoying because i had no idea i could get the key from ingward and never even knew he was there until i looked him up when i was NPC searching, plus its full of item traps and the fact you have to spam curse items to get through most of it really did it in for me. the lower part wasn't as bad but wasn't as thrilling as some of the other designs they've done.

You're missing a "Soul of a Proud Knight" in Ingward's tower. It's around the opposite side from where you come in. Before entering the Banshee room with the ladder, it's a 3rd doorway (across from where you enter this junction room).

Not trying to be a **** but the map makes 0 sense to me no matter how I look at it. Everything else is has helped me alot thank you.

The map makes perfect sense, and looks just like the area. The only weird thing is it labels ghosts as banshees.

there are only two banshees. the first and simplest notable distinction of the banshees is that they scream when you approach. ghosts are simpler and more common. the map has actual banshees listed as "mage banshees" for some reason. even so it could be useful.
