I sigh every time that line comes up: Gwynevere, Mimics, Quelaag, ...Smough... and so on.It isn't the worst joke I've ever heard, but I do wonder just what percentage use the orange soapstone to actually help people!(Though I confess I never bothered buying the thing in the first place so I'm hardly one to talk on that last note...)

Gwynevere abandoned her brother and home, got married and had children and lived happily ever after. She sounds selfish.

Well that also means she avoided ds3 anor lando invasion by the pontiff, but it does not really mean that she is "selfish". She could have left because she thought tricking undead to link the fire and keep an age that was supposed to end years ago was wrong, but the game never specifies so we could never know.

Could it be that her character was inspired by Guinevere, the wife of king Arthur, if only in name? I have heard Miyazaki got inspiration for souls games and their cryptic story telling from reading european fairytales/stories and not being able to understand everything because he didn't know meanings all of the english words. Just a thought.
