I used to be able to summon 3 dark spirits. Now i can't. Why did it stop?

Will the summoner lose human status if killed?

Would this work in the great hollow?

My friend farmed me with this and got 50 levels after 82 invasions I placed it down as someone over leveled and he killed me didn't take my humanity or anything

I have hollowing 99 and was able to use it. So idk.

Yes, it is for darkwraiths who follow honorable path as invaders, not for you dudes to build a 4v1 ultra gank which is definitely more corrupted and seduced by dark than any darkwraiths!

"[...]a level 150 can summon a level 120, but a level 120 could NOT summon a level 150."

For me these two sentences contradict each other. Can somebody pls write this in a way I can understand?
For me the first sentence says, if I'm lvl 120 I can't be summened by anyone higher than +10% of my lvl (lvl. 132).
But the second one says, I can be summoned by someone who is higher lvl than that, namely 150 for example.

It displays as grayed out even while I’m human. Do I have to be in a certain location to use it?
