Can you get the black knight great axe from the black knight at farron bf
No that's in dark souls 3 not 1 I believe
And even then it's the BKGS, not the BKGA.
Who let the casual in here
"Decent" swing speed? That***** hits faster than a greatsword! Not an ULTRA greatsword, mind you, it hits faster than an actual greatsword
this weapon got nerfed with r1 damage, not ar but deal similar or even less damege with greatsword

Everyone should kill Lautrec with the R2. He gets launched like a loony tunes character on the R2 - he'll swear and curse you right even as he gets knocked back and forth by the big bastard swings.
If you're looking to get this at the beginning of the game, follow these steps:
Start game with master key. Immediately go to grab the astora sword to kill skeletons. At the shrine, grab the ring of sacrifice for safety (do not equip it yet) and the chest of homeward bones if you want them. Now go through the game and get at least 10 humanity (but do not use any humanity you've collected yet). Level strength to 24 and dex to 13 before you go into the catacombs.

Make your way through catacombs to where you warp to the gravelord covenant, join the covenant and get the gravelord sword. Your stats will allow you to one-hand it. Kill the two skeletons above the black knight with astora sword (if you dont have the faith requirement you can still backstab/parry them for good damage) so they do not interfere. Before you drop through the floor to kill the black knight, equip the ring of sacrifice and use any humanity you have so you have at least 10. Be careful when you do drop down, as he will likely attempt to kill you as you fall down. The safest method for killing it is with backstabs, hence why you have the gravelord sword. However be wary of blocking attacks, as they will either consume almost if not all stamina or ignore your shield. If you die, the ring will break and you won't lose your humanity, giving you another chance without worry of losing it for good. If it doesn't drop, you'll have to restart the game.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
You can also get yourself DarkSoulsSaveManager and creat a Backup before killing the Black Knight ( and reload the backup until he drops its weapon)

I know its not the most honorable way of getting things done in DS but its waaaay less stressful then creating a new character for each try.
OR, Much easier, Roll off 1st bridge to the broken bridge, of you’re human you got Paladin Leeroy to one shot the black knight. (1-2,)And 1 shot all skeletons. On top of that: he can 3 shot Pinwheel, who nets you a Mask, Rite of Kindling, and 15K souls. Reset if BKGA doesn’t drop.
*if you’re human
Grab zwei instead
This calculator is wrong i have 38str and 18 dex and +2 and my ar is 497
Because it also scales with your stats ? seems fine to me
It does about 604 ar for me. I have 40 are and 20 Dex. It scales well and is useful against knight artorias. I killed him with it and only 5 estus
It said "At 40 Strength and 18 Dex FULLY UPGRADED Black Knight Greataxe has 609 Attack rating."
Very useful with 40 STR and 20 Dex. It settings really fast and does more damage than the zweihander though it's poise break isn't as high. I recommend farming for souls at anor Londo 80000 to about 100000 to get it upgraded fully that is including buying the twinkling titanite

A <15 minute method I've used to get this at SL1 is: start with the Master Key gift, after arriving at Firelink grab the 3x Humanity from the corpse on the nearby well, grab the Ring of Sacrifice from under the bridge, take the elevator down to New Londo Ruins, take the shortcut gate through to Valley of Drakes and grab the Dragon Crest Shield for a 100% block shield. Then head back to Firelink. Use one of your Humanity to reverse hollowing, then run down to the Catacombs, run down past all the skeletons and use the lever down the left passage to open the door. Run through and immediately before the first narrow bridge, look down and you'll see a bit of land below the side of the bridge you are coming from. Drop down here, heal and look down again for the summon sign - roll towards that. Summon Paladin Leeroy, then move towards one of the edges of the platform he is on and he'll willingly drop down. Stay up there, use all of your Humanity items and equip the Ring of Sacrifice to give you a second attempt if you die. You can sort of control Leeroy by standing on the opposite edge of this platform to where you want him to move. If you stand at the edge you use to make him drop down, he'll run towards the nearby tunnel. If you stand at the opposite end, he'll move towards the Black Knight. You'll may need to run back and forth between these cliff edges to make sure he doesn't run too far forward too soon and get mobbed by all the Pinwheel Skeletons, as he can definitely die. Once most/all of the pinwheels are dead, drop down to where the item pickup is and collect it, then drop down again. Make sure Paladin Leeroy is following you by getting close to him, then head towards the Black Knight (away from the tunnel) and there will be a flat vertical wall on the right towards the far wall, get close to this and the Black Knight will drop down. Run back to Leeroy as he has probably become distracted by that tunnel. You may want to act as a bit of a distraction to help Leeroy kill the knight. If Leeroy tragically dies, your 100% shield should let you block at least one hit from the Black Knight while circling around for a backstab. Hope this helps! Praise the sun!
I have a better way. Grab zwei lvl str to 16 ( starting class warrior) drop down to the first ledge and enter the building where titanite demon is, go left, drop down, troll skellys 2 drop at big gap where their summoner is, go bsck and drop where bk is, bs him 5 times and walah u done
Took me about 3 tries. This is by far the best method. After getting the axe, I took Leeroy to Pinwheel, got the Mask of the Child and used the homeward bone he drops.
wtf this weapon's left click does way less damage than black knight great sword's left click
It gives you enhanced poise during the swing and breaks other people's poise much easier. You can trade blows much easier.
