As a mage I just upgrade the starter sword and cut them down manually. The eyes stagger with every slash and it's easy to stunlock them to death.

It also helps if you add the Blacksmith and Alche NPCs to the area sanc to increase your physical damage.

Bola eye nerve drop rate is negative 40, actually. Not does it not drop any, it devours all hope of knowing such a drop would exist in the first place
