I swear, this boss only exists to ruin the fun of a wisdom build.

Play it somewhat safe and dodge when he attacks underneath him. Can be a bit of a challenge in ng+7 but what isnt a challenge at that point

I love this guy's design and lore (he's very similar to Pontiff Sulyvahn from DS3), it's a pity his fight was so boring.

"he's very similar to Pontiff Sulyvahn from DS3" NO! Just no! He isn't simular to Pontiff Sulyvahn in the slightest

To the person who responded in Dec 07, yes he is. He's pretty much the exact same in every way. Pretty much evil in every way, came over to some great place, screwed it up with his own twisted beliefs, and waits just before another boss fight that he helped cause. They're both even religious figures just to add another similarity.

Holy*****, this guy has got to be the easiest Souls-type boss I've encountered. The only one that died quicker was Pinwheel, and that doesn't count since you're basically meant to fight Pinwheel the moment you beat the Moonlight Butterfly, not after going through half the DLC and having a fully upgraded weapon.
