You can get this while offline. There are "Mad Warrior" enemies in the Bell Tower of Iron Keep. The don't invade, but they do spawn in the area. Join the Bell Keeper covenant. Equip the Delicate String ring. Run towards the bell lever and the Mad Warrior will be there. Repeat. Note that sometimes the Mad Warrior doesn't show up so you'll have to reload the area.

This is probably the most active pvp covenant in the entire game, I get constant invasions. Knocked out the spell in about 2 hours

I forgot to add: You need to be wearing the Bell Keeper ring when you slay him. Also, the rank increases by 1 point each time you ring the bell per NG cycle or Ascetic. So, you get 2 points toward the next rank just for ringing both bells, plus 1 point each time a Mad Warrior is slain with Bell Keeper ring on. You must be part of the covenant to get this point.

So I basically screwed myself because I didn't wear this stupid ring? Man... Thanks buddy... Gonna need that Spells Achievement without online...

This worked 100%, I was originally waiting to be summoned with zero results. By killing the Mad Warriors I got up to Rank 2 in a couple hours based on his spawns. Super easy! Thank you!!
