Ok, I have 2 characters on the ps4. With one character I have the flamberge +10, it was S scaling in Dex, it's now A scaling after adding bleed to it. Then I decided to make the other character, I have the flamberge, I haven't reinforced it yet but it is only C scaling in Dex from both huntsman copse and from wellager, have they descaled it again, but the A scaling bleed Flamberge still exists after checking today ?

when near the edge , walk in diagonal to the side instead of straight away, so that the momentum does not make you miss the platform and fall to your death

I love this sword. Good damage at +10, plus the added bleed effect. Nice R1 swing speed with wide arc, and its R2 stab attack has fantastic range. One of my favorites.

I think it's going to be good to change my bastard sword to the flamberge i really liked the moveset and it's really long and pushes you forward more than the bastard sword when you attack

In my SoTFS weapon requirements 16str 15dex. I always get confused with bleed. In DS3 beed was awesome and worked on 90% mobs in DS1 bleed was good but if I remember correctly in DS2 bleed kinda suck in PVE especially on great sword. Less enemies vulnerable to bleed and after 3-4 hits with GS they dead anyway. Ergo unless you PvP a lot bleed infusion is useless.

Bleed was definitely meant for PvP in DS2. In DS1 and DS3 bleed would cause the enemy to lose a % of their hp. In DS1 it was either 30% or 50% depending on the weapon used which generally made bleed awesome in PVE. In DS2 bleed does a bunch of things, but most of them are PvP centric. First of all bleed causes a flat 200 damage regardless of the enemy's hp, so it is not nearly as strong. The tradeoff though is that it reduces their max stamina, reduces their stamina regen, reduces their max equip load, and reduces their movement speed. In PvP that combination of cripple effects can be devastating if you take advantage of them. A favorite trick of mine was to use bleed infused claws with the possesed armor bow in slot two. would back stab people which almost 100% of the time procs bleed, and then when they panic and try to roll away i pop them with the bow. The thing is, in PvE enemies don't have stamina or equip loads so it basically does nothing but the flat 200 damage to them.

I know the other guy already mentioned it but in Scholar of the First sin, this weapon's stat requirements are 16/15.

Is there any reason why this thing cannot be buffed with bleed serum (even though bleed is useless in this game bar some few pvp scenarios)? It's not classified as a "special weapon" by any means.

Bleed weapons and dex weapons are usually synonymous. Maybe try the claws, they proc fast
