Just wanted to clarify something, the HP healing only applies to allies? Player not included??
By Anonymous
#16008676
uh...I don't think it applies because...you can't hit yourself

Very late reply, but, yes, the healing applies to the player, as well. Just note that it takes about 10% of the weapon's total durability to perform. Overall, it is probably the best sword for a Dex/Fth build.

Love this blade. The fact that the Ivory King trusted it to the most beloved person in his world and that it bears the name of the land makes me thing that it was like a charm to him, maybe this sword was a reminiscent of some event or someone in Forossa that changed his life.

I am perplexed by the heavy dislike of Bloodborne in this comment thread. I assume people are projecting their dislike of certain Dark Souls 3 mechanics that originate from Bloodborne.

If you give Alsanna the 50 Loyce souls to get her soul and the you kill her you get a 2nd one? would be really cool to dual wield this weapon.

might be a bit late for an answer, but from what i can tell, the loyce souls carry over to ng+, so you can also get her soul in ng+ without farming a second time

Ng+ or check if bone ascension allows to receive it twice.

Possibly, as the Shards seems to seek out powerful souls that would potentially, as the Kings and the player can, could link the fire and then drain them of their strength to ensure this does not come to pass. However, as with the other games, player choice is quite limited, so we don't get to really see the difference between a player might choose to link the flame or one that wants to break the cycle.

Technically, neither of these would be beneficial to the Shards, humanity, or the Dark as the cycle mandates that an Age of Dark should follow the Age of Fire. The goal which the Shards seem to share with other Dark organizations or entities like Manus or, later on, the Sable Church of Londor.

Maybe not her new king, but certainly trying to get you to appease the chaos.

alsanna is not that good, from what i understand she still wanted the king's power for her. but he sacrificed himself to chaos, leaving her alone without a king to drain power.

If she were a jerk like her sisters were, she could have just left the place, you know?
By Anonymous
#16879847
The main reason why she didn't screw over the Ivory Kingdom was due to the fact that the King treated her differently than the rest when their queens came along. He knew she was born from evil all along, but gave her purpose and didn't fear her, hell he sacrificed himself to the Chaos not only for his kingdom... but for her too. That sacrifice is what convinced her to stay in his stead, not for power but out of loyalty and possibly love for a King she could of easily betrayed.

Good healing method for invasions where a seed of giant is used against you.

Not really. The amount of heal is marginal
