I don't know about anyone else, but in normal DS2, it seems like they spawn forever, but after a while, their drop rates go down astronomically for some reason. Ever happen to anyone else?

Im just wondering what they are weak to, while im grinding them out. Obviously bleed isnt going to do anything, but what about poison, or magic etc?

They're pretty weak to lightning- 2-3 shots at most. You do more damage to them after they've finished waking up.

The more you kill an enemy the lower their drop rate gets

They are weak to dark, not lightning. Enchant a gyrm greathammer with dark weapon, use the strong attack, and walk around the room oneshotting them in ng+

There is one right by the closest ruin sentinel on the left that you can farm without being caught

Shoot them with a bow to pull aggro individually

I noticed something odd, but not sure if it's on console only or not. If you zoom with the binoculars and move from side to side, the real ones will drag slightly, but the statues that are not alive don't get that weird visual effect so you can tell them apart.
