I second this, makes the dreaded great hammer using ones way less troublesome to deal with, especially since they're big usually slow-moving targets that don't block at all

I love how not only do the great hammer wielding Drakekeepers have infinite stamina and absurd aggression to the point that they pretty much attack constantly if you're in their range, they also are guaranteed to stunlock you if they land even a single hit on you because their attacks are guaranteed to stagger you regardless of how much poise you have and they swing so fast it's impossible to roll away before the second swing hits you, not to mention how they hit insanely hard to the point they can almost 2-shot you even if you have high vigor and good armor, yeah... Screw these guys with extreme prejudice.

Anon 3, Stop defending really unfun to fight and annoying enemies with "Git Gud" then you bootlicker, An enemy with infinite stamina that attacks non-stop that also has infinite poise, is guaranteed to stunlock you with even a single hit and does enough damage to easily one-shot most players is objectively a really unfun and arguably poorly designed enemy, "Gitting Gud" doesn't change that.

I agree with o.p. anon. The anon 2 who replied to o.p. with "skill issue" sounds like he definitely has an was over-inflated ego! I would bet on it that that narcissist has the same issue as o.p. anon!

over-inflated ego? who's to say he even played ds2? nah he just got bullied somewhere else and is trying to rebalance himself or something by picking on others, kinda cringe

Any tips on how to defeat them playing sword and shield?

Strafe the first one, his attacks will go wide and miss you entirely. The greathammer one can be lured to the previous staircase, were his attacks will miss when he has the high ground (it's scary, but trust the lack of a hitbox; the hammer will swing through you without any dmg). The greatsword one can also be strafed, but you might have to roll through one/two swings. The warpick one is a biiit tricky, but he attacks slowly. No matter which you fight, make sure to block no more than one hit with the shield. Good luck

The Greatshield+Warhammer ones are absolutely awful to fight, they turtle behind their shields whenever they're not attacking and are seemingly impossible to guard-break, and when they do it's the same extremely fast swings with obnoxious tracking and guaranteed stunlock that the 2-handed Great Hammer ones do, only they also have a ******* nigh-instant shield bash that does very high damage is guaranteed to stun you and leaves you completely defenseless for a few seconds which can easily get you slaughtered if there's other enemies around, and they love to spam it everytime you get close to them, they're easily even more horrible than the Great Hammer ones imo, atleast the Great Hammer guys give you atleast one second or two to hit them

The 2-handed mace versions of these guys must've have mentored the Greatsword-wielding Cathedral Knights from Dark Souls 3, It's uncanny how similar they are in terms of how they fight, the infinite stamina, the infinite poise, the really awful attack patterns varying from swing extremely quickly and aggressively to extremely slow and delayed swings with utterly ridiculous tracking combined with the fact they attack non-stop often swing 8 times in a row with a weapon that would require you to have 100000 stamina to get even the tiniest bit close to how much they swing, and the biggest similarity of all, THEY BOTH ****ING SUCK
