I was told that joining this covenant would give normal infinite spawns then ended up farming iron keep to extinction. It may extend the number of spawns but it does not make them unlimited. Sadly, I do not have a total count but I can tell you that enemies who have already gone extinct will still be gone and enemies that are still there will go away.

I've spent some time in this covenant to farm things such as petrified dragon bones and such, but it seems that drop rates are increased. Could someone confirm this? I got 3 drops of the black dragon greataxe, 2 black dragon shields, 2 sanctum priestess tiaras and this was within 20 kills. Also drakekeeper armor aplenty (10+ of each piece).

I'm not sure about SOTFS but I used it to farm the Heidi knights in the original DS2.

On Sotfs not sure if its bugged but joining didn't raise the Dragon rider's health. had 3050 which is how much he normally has. Know this because of him dropping into the water.

I am not sure but Enemies which are supposed to drop Awestones do so when killed first time (when in Covenant Scholar of first Sin) I got them from the Old Knights with 2 hand Ultragreatsword and the Mutant dogs in the Gutter when i killed them first time

If I leave this covenant does it reduce enemy damage and all of that back down or is that just permanent?

WARNING! Donating awestones while in offline mode will only apply towards the covenant rewards. They will not show up on the rankings tablet. Even after going back to online mode. I wasted around 150 stones before I found this bug . I'm on Xboxone SotFS version, and I don't know if this issue applies to other versions, but I would make sure to be in online mode to be safe.

ayy wtf, i'm a total noob and didn't know about this stuff, I joined the covenant at the start of the game without knowing what it does, and now I'm at No Man's Wharf. So the game will indeed get easier if I leave it, good to know

Did the same thing, and realized it around the same time you did.. Total BS. I thought my game was glitched since I had yet to see a summon sign anywhere whether I was human or hollow. Ahh well.. live and learn.

What is wrong with this community? One half kills every friendly NPC they find the other half joins a covenant who ask them 3 times (!) if they really want this because there will be consequences! At least I don't need to wonder now any longer why every second summon seems to be a headless chicken...

Just dealt with this very issue. Guy thought he'd joined Way of the Blue, sent us a screenshot, and we all point out, "Way of the Blue is, uh, blue, not grey."

Kind of amazed by this myself. Not the covenant, but the idiots that don't understand what it does. It straight up tells you that it will make the game a "greater challenge" and gives you several opportunities to reconsider before letting you join. How was that not crystal clear? lol.***** like this is why so many developers focus on making games "Accessible" these days. The average player has the IQ of a lemon.

In SotFS you have to kill The Pursuer and take the eagle to The Lost Bastille. The ember will be in one of the iron chests. In Vanilla, it stays in the same place as always.
