Hm... Greatswords... do ultragreatswords count? if so, it makes this choice harder for me, but i think either the original "Great Sword" or the Majestic Great Sword (Artorias' sword).

not sure if im a bit late, if you want an aerly run weapon deangleics pretty good to start, past that point I moved on to the black knight sword and then at the end ruler great sword with crystal magic weapon, but ive also heard drake knight weapon is p.good and i heard watchers g.sword is down right op

super late answer, but you should give the Fume Ultra Greatsword a shot. It eats stamina, but it grinds everything into dust </3

My personal favorite greatsword is the the ivory king greatsword i has low durability when 2h but deals a lot of damage when used on bosses.

Late answer, but I think the Loyce greatsword or the Majestic Greatsword are the best. But I am leaning more toward the Loyce Greatsword.

I think the claymore is overall the most versatile choice and has the great thrust moveset. that's just my experience though. others are probably more popular

Try Murakumo, great move set and at +10 and 4o strenght it does over 500 DMG per hit.
