There is no note next the staircase for me to summon him?

If you start the night by killing Amelia and/or head to Cainhurst Castle, his summons won't be there anymore.

So, obviously Alfred is/was an Executioner. But, if you summon him for the BSB fight, his tag reads "Vileblood Hunter Alfred". Is he actually a vileblood? Because I was under the impression that one couldn't be both Executioner and Vileblood at the same time. Does this explain how he survived Cainhurst despite all the other Executioners getting wiped out? Yet he still obviously resents/wants to kill Annalise. Did I miss something that better explains what happened to Alfred?

Technically all executioners are vilblood hunters

It's more a title than what he is. Think of it as you being a Beast Hunter. Does this mean you're a beast who hunts, or a hunter of beasts? Alfred is a hunter of Vilebloods, or a "Vileblood Hunter."

Ok. I don't understand why but I agreed to assist Alfred and go to BSB and his summon note isn't available. What gives? I have six insight.

You cant summon him for BSB after killing vicar amelia. His summon sign wont be there if you have killed her. I just found this out myself recently.

Considering he's basically a vampire hunter, he must be named after Roman Polanski's character in 'Fearless Vampire Killers'.

I hit him once and he doesn't turn into an Hostile npc, instead he said a new dialogue (a shotgun) -Why do you point your blade on me? (Somthing like that) And then I can speak to him normaly

I think there are some interesting things we can deduce about Alfred's history judging by how he's portrayed in the game. This video goes into detail about the subject matter:

Am I missing something? I cannot summon Alfred for BSB despite having spoken with him previously, I agreed to co-operate but nothing.

I just want to make this very clear. Alfred does not drop 7000 blood echoes. When the page was just starting, I decided to mess around with the page and see how long it would take for the corrections to be made. I put in a false item "Olden Talisman" (Yep, I'm the culprit.) and some other minor stuff like quotes he would say. This following was the "7000 blood echoes". Again, this was when the page was just opening and we were learning about the game. TO THIS DAY, it is still here. I myself do not own the game and apologize in advance for putting false information on the site, was just a small little joke with my friends. Considering, it would probably be wise to get the correct number on there so most of the players don't get dissapointed - Kevin

Doesn't make much sense, the pale blood fulfills Alfred's' wishes and he decides to commit suicide?
By Anonymous
#15840435
Ya if anything the executioners would probably be disgusted he killed himself for fame

Looks like it. His life was to 'free' Master Logarius and after that was done he had no reason to live.

He almost certainly intended to become a martyr, like Logarius. He finishes the mission of the executioners and then cements their legend by finishing the last executioner (Himself).

Alfred goes savage against the queen. Maybe this isn't just over zealousness, maybe its a sign that he is becoming blood drunk/ beast like, and having finished his mission, he ends himself before he turns. This sounds cooler than suicide just to be a martyr. Martyrs are usually killed in duty/for the sake of duty, something like this isn't very martyr like
