Did some experimenting with Radiance both on and off. With it equipped, I gained 538 HP when healing. Without it, I gained 440 HP. Not much of an increase, but it's something.

maybe it has to do with blood echoes since someone above stated they could not use coldblood dew with the rune equiped

Equipped Radiance with both 177,763 Blood Echoes and 103 Blood Echoes. No difference in healing power.

So a 1.8% increase, lovely.

(yet another guest) Did some experimenting of my own with radiance. With Radiance, my health regain was at 434. Without radiance, it was at 426. My VIT is at 29, Arcane is 15, END is 37, Bloodtinge is 18, and my soul level is 92. I've been on offline mode, so no affinity with the executioner covenant. No idea why the Radiance rune seems so random in terms of gains.

Some quick testing shows that Insight doesn't have an effect on healing power, at least at lower Insight levels. At both 10 Insight and 20 Insight the rune healed an additional 12 HP. That's a 2% increase in healing power. Still, something's going on here. The last time I did this the rune only added 8 HP of healing power. Where did these 4 additional HP come from?

I think this rune might be bugged. I would still get it if you could in the small chance that FROM fixes it in a patch.

Tested and went from 440 to 448...

My very initial testing seems that I gain an extra +25 hp healed with this rune on. Still not particularly useful, but if it can be increased then perhaps it might be better

Does this scale with Insight?

Went back to Upper Cathedral for more testing. I used the slug things' Frenzy attacks to consistently get myself down to 327 HP. My results are now much more in line with everyone else. With Radiance on I gained a mere 8 points of HP.

So we can pretty much say its useless...

I was wondering long time but increases the effectiveness of oath runes when you use them? Killing Vilebloods in coop could make it stronger. Anybody confirm or deny, plz.

I was at Alfred's corpse to get this Rune then I pressed X to take it but the item didn't vanished from the floor even though it was added to my inventory. Then I kept pressing X and got 2 more for a total of 3 Radiance runes. Not much useful but I felt I should share for bug hunting sake.

Got it twice. This must be a bug. You can't equip two Oath Runes anyway, so it shouldn't matter.

Anyone know why the ring would not appear. I followed the guideline and gave the unsummon went and watched the cut scene then went back to the guy where I first met him. The body is there but the rune did not appear

No item on his corpse? Have you tried reloading? Unfortunate glitch,,Ng + if it still wont work. Well the rune isn't much, impurity or hunter of hunters is better.

Flavor text says that an Executioner would never cooperate with a Cainhurst Vileblood, so does this rune make you unable to co-op with a player using the Vileblood Rune? The Hunter rune does, so i thought it would be weird to have two of three covenants against one... Experimentation is needed...

yeah, if you are summoned by a vileblood while being an executioner, you immediately turn into an invader

HOH do not automatically attack vilebloods, they attack anyone who has killed someone who had the HOH rune on.

I like the sarcasm in that. 2% is so meager and does not make a difference, with how much enemies damage you anyway.
By Anonymous
#15839196
yea i thought it would be at least 5% but maybe its just for balance, and then healing with two vials (which is frequent) would be 4% total

After completing Alfred's quest, I went back to his original location and was unable to locate the rune. Alfred himself has also disappeared from the throne room. Ideas?

Are you currently a vileblood? It's a longshot but maybe that could be messing you up. Try checking his second location just in case. Also, if you haven't yet, try reviving the queen. Since the idea is that he shows up dead and you just pry the rune from his cold dead hands maybe she neds to be brought back to visit sweet vengeance on him.

That's strange and is probably a bug; I just completed his quest with no problems, with the Queen still being a pulpy flesh pile.
