I plan on taking my GF into a root chalice dungeon in order to kill her so I can marry that nice baker girl in south Yharnam. Which one should I do to make sure they never find the Echo remains? Thanks!

I'm curious for the follow-up? Did you kill her? Are you and the nice baker lady happy?

So what's the actual purpose of adding this optional material?
Does it increase the difficulty of the bosses and/or semi-bosses or the global difficulty of the dungeon.
What's the actual benefit? Better drop and/or better loot?

Cursed offering makes it so that your max hp is 50%, and enemies drops cursed blood gems very often. Fetid and rotted offerings, not sure which is which, but supposed to spawn higher level enemies like hunters, brainsuckers, witch-dog trios and such, and some regular enemies are buffed with poison/fire. In terms of loot, yes, the more offerings the better the loot from coffins and chests. I'm not sure whether bosses are harder. Probably spawns tougher bosses.

Fetid Offerings towards any Chalice Dungeon will yield you ( Better higher Blood Echoes , more Harder enemies i think & buffed enemies , and Extra Loot Drops frequently ).... Now the Rotted Offerings ( Better Blood Gem drops , Harder Enemies ). Hope this Helps
