I think we should add the npc hunters we find as enemies. So far I've found 3 different ones in chalices and then there are a couple in the main game as well: charred hunter below Djura, Choir Member in Byrgenwerth, 5 Yahar'Gul hunters (2 next to grand cathedral, 3 in yahar'gul chapel), and the scholar in nightmare of Mensis.

Added the 4 chalice hunters. Just need to add pics.

In chalice dungeons you can find at least 3 different ones as well: Beast Claw hunter in charred sets (Loran), Bone Ash Hunter (Loran & Pthumerian), Tomb Inspector (Pthumerian & Isz, there are variants)

Are you talking about the black goo like things that are mostly on the ceiling. If yes they are weak to bolt fire but hard to kill without elemental effect

Are you talking about the Crawlers? White slug things, shoot poison at you? They're encountered in Nightmare Frontier, never seen 'em in a chalice dungeon. Whereabouts is this picture?

That, may 1 guest is no slug, its a mole, labyrinth mole to be exact. Rare chalice enemy and its gross as hell. Its weak, esp to bolt, but its difficult to backstab because this thing( how can it even be a mole?!) can convert its *** to its face. Not kidding. It can transition and switch, it doesnt have to literally turn to face you. It takes time to transition tho, and you can beat it up while it does that.

no, I'm not talking about the monsters in nightmare frontier you can just search "slug" on the wiki and you'd find the picture https://bloodborne.wiki.fextralife.com/ ... 20slug.png

I always wondered what was the significance of the Great Ones being weak to bolt attacks. Then I saw this video: Looks like the Great Ones being weak to bolt has some pretty hefty lore significance.

in Chalice Dungeons i found some type of reptile-shaped guys with eyes like slugs (sticking out of their heads) dressed up in capes. Magicians ... (Summoning exploding fireballs 4inst.) Easy to stagger, easy to kill up close. best letz

I started my game from where I was when I turned off, just after killing a bunch of guys, and when I looked at the ground, all of the blood that sprayed on the floor when I hit them seemed to have colagulated(do not know how to spell right) and dried.

Where are these enemy descriptions coming from? Are they in the guidebook?

Ugh, these have to be one of the worst enemies in the entire series or at the very least in Bloodborne. I hate them so much. Frenzy just isn't a well done mechanic and these enemies take forever to kill when you first encounter them. They are creepy though, I'll give them that. If there is a worse enemy I don't want to imagine it.

It's alright. I've beaten the game three times and I know how to defeat them. It's just I find them to be such an awful enemy. Frenzy is not particularly well done either. I think they should have had a delay on frenzy so when the meter fills up you get a brief window to use a sedatives or at least have the sedative give you brief immunity. Once you use one the frenzy meter continues to fill up, even after their death for a few seconds. Aside from that, it think frenzy does make sense in terms of insight and lore. I can agree on that. It's merely the implementation of it that sucks in my opinion. As for the bell maidens, they are my second least favourite enemy. In chalice dungeons they are sometimes absolutely abominable as you said. Either way, thanks for the replies.

You can parry their grab and use the I-frames of the riposte to negate Frenzy. Spend your Insight and wear Djura's Set to get more Frenzy resist and you can almost always have time to use a Sedative before the Frenzy procs. The only really annoying thing about them is their 360 field of vision and how the spikes eventually do damage to you from a distance, but they're also found in places where you can see their pathing and figure out how and when you want to approach them. And Frenzy is actually pretty well done I'd say. It ties back to the fact that more Insight into the world makes people go mad and it being a building meter instead of in chunks allows you to react to it easier before it procs. It's definitely frustrating at first, and I personally recall thinking it was bull*****, but eventually you get used to it and learn to deal with it in one way or another. The worst enemy is any Bell-Maiden that spawns Man-spiders. It's just plain wrong to encounter so many of those things in one room.

Go to fishing hamlet and go down the well and kill the giant fishmen to get the rakuyo when the one with the anchor is weak a reinforcementwill come out and kill him to get the rakuyo and then to kill them is to dodge their attacks.PS:it is very very hard to defeat them both
- Tue Jul 05, 2016 4:50 am
#15828874
Well, speaking of annoying foes, for me, its them shark giants at number one, anchor especially, then winterlanterns, geeze, then those ***** insight draining brain suckers.

They're a pretty tough enemy but once you learn the parry timing, they're not much trouble. You want to shoot just before they finish their scream like this What I find best is to wear armour with average frenzy resist to abuse the i-frames you get while visceral attacking, using a shotgun is a good idea because even if you miss the parry, it will stagger them.

It seems that some people on Reddit have found a strange enemy in the Chalice Dungeons that isn't even listed on the Official Guide. Here's a video of it: And the threads on Reddit: So, should it be added?

#15828877
yeah, I remember that being listed here. The page was alphabetized though, maybe something was lost during that process? I have no idea, I definitely remember that enemy being listed here though. You are quite welcome to add it.

Just to give a bit of an update: Someone on reddit a few days ago spoke to AGermanSpy about this creature and he said its called something along the lines of "Hole Digger" and that supposedly Future Press are going to release a blog post that goes into detail about what the extra 100 pages were and stuff that was apparently missed from the guide.

Rich elderly men in wheelchairs are a common sight in Yharnam, and are often armed with firearms from the old wars. This was a bit misleading, since i first tought these were official descriptions... I was thinking to myself : hmmm the old wars... hmmm... Maybe just lose the "the".
