"Useful when trying to progress through the Nightmare of Mensis, when the tower is damaging you with Frenzy light. Apply it and walk straight to the Mergo's Loft: Base lamp." What? Doesn't work. You still take damage, or what do you mean with this?

Avoiding the rock throwers is easy, just run past them? That area is so easy, run from the first lamp, go right before the bridge, past the rock throwers and light second lamp. Run past them again and right onto the bridge and across. Wear the Grave Warden Set or whatever has the best Frenzy res, and IF you get unlucky...you MIGHT need to use a sedative.

I think it means you shouldn't take frenzy buildup in the first part of mensis, but haven't tried myself so I can't verify.
The statement could also be related to a bug that happened to me in my first playthrough, where frenzy stopped affecting me at the start of mensis. Halfway through the first outdoor section I suddenly got no buildup and no damage from the "spears", but the light and sound was still there.

It's talking about avoiding the Rock Throwers. It isn't worded very well.

The wording's crappy, but it's talking about the giant lost children, or whatever weird name they have. It's something wonky.

I tried the elixier in a chalice dungeon for fun. The shooter walking with 2 dogs gave me an interesting reaction: While his 2 dogs didn't notice me even when walking directly into me, the shooter noticed me and started shooting. This consumable has interesting protperties, is it possible it acts a bit like the alluring skulls in dks, meaning the elixiers only work on "dumb" enemies?

One man's dream is another man's nightmare. Wondrous item for the crafty invader. Try using one on an elevator to surprise the host or use it for a discrete getaway in a gank situation. Stealth is effective.

I've been farming in Isz chalice a lot lately and once in a seriously blue moon I will get a blue elixir from an alien/kin. Even with all 3 eye runes on a 50 arcane build I only got one once in like 8 hours of farming and somehow twice in 3-4 hours on a 25 arcane build also with all 3 eye runes.

The wolves with blue eyes in the upper cathedral drop them as well.

Seems to drop from any of the church enemies in the area. I got mine from a regular church guy with a staff outside the cathedral ward lantern.

The Insight Bath only has Lead Elixir for purchase, not Blue Elixir.

I don't know if this is still up for discussion but using a Blue Elixir at the beginning of Nightmare of Mensis and in the Nightmare Frontier on the one Winter Lantern that you meet on the way to Amygala. I just tried both and neither of them seem to fall for the Blue Elixir trick.

This is great for navigating that part in Nightmare Frontier where those giants rain boulders on you from a distance.

A godsend for dealing with brainsuckers... easy kills for sure when at risk for losing insight

Yea don't let those suckers steal your insight. Spend 2 insight on a blue elixir to prevent suckers from stealing it.

Great when dealing with lantern campers. I waited until their buddy made a mistake and died, used one of these, and almost rekt the host. Too bad another showed up.
