First pre-area in Layer 1, for those completionists who want all weapons
What does this have to do with the Reiterpallasch?
That glyph has both Uncanny Reiter and Uncanny LHB. I just used it a couple days ago myself.
paired with the Evelyn this is great for a gunslinger build, and it's pretty fun even if its annoying to opponents in pvp. Use your own discretion between skill and bloodtinge and with the Formless Oedon and Oedon Writh Runes, and you'll be a quicksilver beast. I took on all the bosses, even amygdala and ebriats with a barrage to their eye infested brains. good times.

I upgraded this weapon enough to use in ng+3 because I got bored of using the burial Blade and chikage all the time and I have to say poking your enemies into a stun lock to death is so much fun

Visceral aattacks are sweet bbut becauase we wont be sneaking arround and making stealth kills even tho the game seems yo show your 'last position in a transparent image ( or im way off) then maybe a gesture that is more of acrouching on a knee or somehow incorporating whatever animations are available so after approaching unaware foe you could enter this gesture that allows you to immediately exit gesture after a full charge attack that skips the stun part and goes right into a weapon unique visceral attack depending on weapon. aDagger would do aclassic throat slash(and were is the dismemberment? Blood soakes evrything realistically exxagerated but no impale ments or decaps or tearing ou t heart to harvest ala The Darkness 2 a terrific shooter). Maybe with agunspear you impale then pull triger blsting visible hole in enemy.



Then with ur origin maybe we can find clues as to who we are/where or destined to become. Aunique gesture for each origin plus optional secret nemesis.



Anyway share thoughts and your ideas for trick weapons... preferably not a wheel... Also a m7sket with attached monicle would be a cool two handed gun with blunt stagger attacks. It would be sweet if you could knock enemies down pounce and impale.



Last thought: A future game that does combine Souls with BB but its set so long after an Apocalypse no one remembers but the world could be a mix of modern ruins and modernized rebuilding of the world so its like Medieval, gothic Modern makeshift kind of world were you have more focus on ur character and the story u create that ends in *****ation for all a bittersweet ending, atragic ending were nlthing good happens, etc all however ending with the world in a different world state and your own consequences to conquor more questions about themes of the soul ,creation insanity the unknown corruption or pursuits of knowledge. NG+ would have a hollowing like mechanic after death and the threat of being possessed and having to kill the demon by self exorcism as you enter your personal hell the boss getting harder each time u die bringing a theme of willpowe thats real as your NG+ can end if you get possessed and give up or hollow all the way likDS2 should of done to create afun perma death challenge.A rough synopsis i call Blood Legend or Souls Unknown .

Am not sure what I read. But I think by unique visercal attacks, and the dagger slash mentioned, he feels that different weapons could do different things rather than they all visercal attack, like blade of mercy could cut the throat. Thats good, but it will not work against giant beast foes where the throat is placed very far away. The visceral animation will work on any foe and still look painful. Ofcourse, its possible to really code buff it and add animations where the character can always unleash a special move, no matter what the foes body type is, but this is a lot of work. Perhaps in future games as they refine it more, we may see a lot more crazy animations while they still keep up with the souls level of difficulty. Regarding your idea of a future game, its good but its just not the souls game style. Our character is always this silent stranger who no one seems to know. Plus these games have never been very story driven, often with everything already in shambles, and we just piece together lore and finish off a problem that has been there too long. It would be interesting if they made it like the Witcher where we have all these character development options and can change things and save everyone, but I doubt it will happen anytime soon. Its not the games style.

This was one of the trickiest pages I've tackled yet. There's alot of hidden changes that this weapon has gone through over the patches, so what I did was edit the page and clean it out so that it only contained information that we know for fact.



One last thing, there was information originally on the page regarding using this weapon alongside the threaded cane. The problem is that this statement is basically personal and opiniated bias. I don't doubt the idea of the threaded cane being a good companion to the Reiterpallasch, but the page's wiki information needs to be as free of bias as possible to keep a more professional look to them. We have forums and these comment sections on the pages to discuss more biased opinions. As a result, I went back to the Blade of Mercy page to edit the information regarding its usage alongside the Burial Blade that I modified a while back (although I kept the lore parts, as well as what is technically true about them both being skill weapons with direct scaling towards arcane). As for me, I'll do my best to make sure that any editting I do is neutral and doesn't encourage/discourage things I show interest in.
Would it be better to slot 15 points into arcane to benefit from the utility hunter tools and flamesprayer, or is it better to put the points needed into bloodtinge to increase the damage by a little?
Lol, alright just type bloodborne skill calculator into google and use Mugenmonkey or alloyape, they let you set a build, pick a weapon and upgrade level for it and it shows the damage it'll do before gems, also I think fire/bolt paper and the empty phantasm shell buff the reiter's bullets too so try that out

TBH, it depends on how high a level cap you want to set on your character at a given time. 15 points in arcane isn't a high number (and you automatically start off with some points in arcane so the actual points you put into that stat is lower). Furthermore, the Reiterpallasch doesn't even have a very high bloodtinge scaling, so it might be best to early on pick up the 15 arcane if you want to use the hunter tools assocaited with it, then figure out exactly how much bloodtinge you're willing to invest.



Remember that bloodtinge only affects the Reiterpallasch's built-in gun. Furthermore, getting access to 15 arcane means you can buff the weapon with the Empty Phantasm Shell.

But I want a bullet to come out of a sword. I'm just wondering how much stats I should invest in those bullets.
I guess more specifically: would upgrading blt by 8 points (below softcap, 15-23 range of blt) affect the damage the gun will do by >20 damage before bloodgems?
Bloodtinge only affects it's gun damage so...

Nope not anymore thins the Patch 1.7 its the same as the Rifle Spear
I went through the entire DLC blind with this baby at the very beginning of NG+. It's a very underrated weapon. Against most humanoids, it stunlocks to death. Against some bosses, its speed and pierce damage trump large weapons for hit-and-run tactics (coughLudwig'sFirstFormcough). I'd take it over BB or BoM in a pure skill build any day.

To me, the Reiterpallasch is the nemesis of my favorite trick weapon, the Blade of Mercy. Both are fast and favor damaging opponents on quickstep hit-and-run tactics, but the Reiterpallasch has the advantage of range (slightly) and a built-in gun. My weapon's advantage is that it has a built-in arcane scaling, whereas the Reiterpallasch doesn't have any build-in scaling. It can be buffed, sure, but not for long and it also cannot be buffed with BMA.
p5hbjuwy - Curse, Rotted and Foetid offering. The Pallasch is in the uppermost storey of the first bonus area. The first layer boss is headless bloodletting beast which drops a heavy cursed gem: str scaling 23,9% wpn durability up with 5,8 + random negative effect.
