This game dosent have any shields? I used to play dark souls, and i missed them so much when i fight the first boss. Im terrible with dodges

Not avaliable at the start. I mean the game isnt dark/demon souls and i enjoy the faster pace of combat... just my thoughts though.

I dunno. maybe a little bit after the first boss? I mean, it's not like any of the shields are gonna be stupid good like say... the black knight shield or Royal Shield from dark souls 2...

side yahar'gul elevator, i took a shot from wheelchair man, almost half of the damage that it would normally do a bullet from him was deflected by the shield

I actually used that when fighting Triggerhappy (Blunderbuss and Rifle Spear hunter) and it worked flawlessly. Stagger from him was next to nil.

With the Wooden Shield and Tontrius, I went in reluctantly for a try at Rom. I have to say it was probably one of the easier fights with it since the spiders did much less damage to me and the arcane missiles he shoots also did quite a bit less. It was very helpful although damage is still taken.
