Did some cleanup on the page, nothing special.

Ultimately I'm not a huge fan of this shield since I'm of the mindset that all attacks in Bloodborne can be dodged/prevented, but I also have to admit this shield will finally make my dreams of a paladin class come true. Anyways, this shield can actually be useful to a degree, so I suppose each to their own cuts.

Oh, I also removed that part about this shield being a sled in the Hunter's Dream. Unless we see some concrete proof from a youtube video, I very much doubt this was true.

so wait, it's a sidearm that only *****s with a small part of the community that is rather weak to begin with? what was the point in that?

Plus PVE is a thing. Shocking, I know.
This should stop people from being annihilated by Micolash's Call Beyond, or Logarius' spells.

true, didn't think of that...still think Simon's BB should've been arcane though

seems like DLC favors bloodtinge and wants to f*** with arcane...I especially love that Simon's BB decided to be bloodtinge instead of arcane

well actually it's quite opposite, they give u kosm and moonlight blade which are pretty strong arcane weapons. More importantly, they allow Augus to do parry. This is huge boost to arcane

The dlc i feel did not "favor" any one scaling it offered alot to all... Kos parasite and moonlight for arcane, amygdala and the chain sword thing for str, the whirligig for a balance, the minigun and church canon for guns, bow and marias wep for skill (bow also bloodtinge) bloodletter is a new crazy wepa str version of chikage

Very useful in pvp vs low levels with flat arcane on their (saw) weapons. Great for blocking lag hits that go through dodges.

My guess is that they added this to help block against the incoming tidal wave of Holy Moonlight Sword users...

are you kidding me? the dlc totally balanced the game, I only have one build, that is strength/arcane, and I was heavily limited on weapons before, locked to kirkhammer, tonitrus and logarius' wheel and the axe which I am not a fan of. Compared to the previous skill/bloodtinge builds which used to dominate invasions before and had a variety of good weapons (burial blade, blades of mercy, chikage, saw spear, rifle spear, the cane, reiterpallasch) I am now balanced with others in terms of variety. I have a whirlgig saw, the moonlight sword, amygdala's arm, the parasite, a rune that boosts the beastclaw which is a strength based weapon, the boom hammer, the beastcutter.

Looking at the influx of trick weapons scaling with arcane once again and the two trick weapons scaling with bloodtinge, it seems like the opposite is true.

It's worth noting that it also blocks bloodtinge damage effectively, including gunshots.

Did even more cleanup on this page after re-tackling the Wooden Shield.

Most importantly, I got rid of those charts regarding attack movesets and whatnot, which weren't useful at all for a piece of equipment that you can't even attack with.

What happens when this is hit by someone using the parasite of Kos' tentacles? Does it block most of the damage?

This shield makes kos parasite users nearly helpless, as it blocks almost all damage you would normally take with hardly any stamina usage. Whip out this vegetable shield and watch as they turn into steamed cauliflowers, cooking themselves with their own boiling rage!

I figure that I've been a bit too harsh on shield users, so I made this page a bit more "friendly" for people who want to play Dark Souls on a Bloodborne game. I have to admit though, it's thanks to this shield that I can finally make a true and thematic "paladin" character.

Were you wondering why the developers of Bloodborne made such an incredibly OP tentacle-monster-weapon with seemingly now drawbacks? Well I was too, until I decided to use this in PVP against a Kos Parisite using player! Literally NO damage whatsoever was taken when I had the shield raised agasint his attacks! This thing also kicked butt when defending against Lady Maria's OP Royku or whatever in PVP as well - though you still take some damage - the OP little blades just bounce right off! Plus, it's just good practice in general not to be dependent on a firearm, and lean more heavily on evasion and your skills with the weapon itself.

Considering that Dark Sous 3 is just around the corner, it might not be a bad idea nowadays to get used to a shield once more. And by that, I mean this shield, not the piece of garbage Wooden Shield.
