Climbing up and/or down a ladder at the same time as an enemy mob may damage them, and this will set off Djura if you had agreed not to harm the beasts of Old Yharnam. Someone with the privilege is welcome to edit that somewhere on the page.

Who gives the gesture where you fall to your knees? as if to say ***** that was intense. I've seen people use it after boss fights but no idea where it comes from.

I managed to knock him off the roof, and he fell and landed on the side rail of the bridge below. Suspending his items 6 feet above me and out of reach. So I guess I can't get anything... What a jerk

Simply reload the game (options -> exit, then Continue, you'll respawn where you was when you left), and the item will be at the spot he waits for you.

I feel bad for Djura. He only sees the player killing people,not beasts. Even if he can be annoying, I still love him

He doesnt literally see human forms. He just knows they were once people. He doesnt seem to be trying any experiments or research to cure them. Probably knows they are stuck like that, but as he said they dont hurt anyone as no one lives in thst part of yharnam. Too bad they r in our way.

I wanted to kill him for the badge/weps trophy, and couldn't do it on my early game playthrough. I aggro'd him, tried to fight him, didn't work, it was still Dusk. After a while I gave up and carried on with my game, beat BSB and Paarl, now I'm getting ready to go to the last boss and figured I'd better get most of the weapons before going NG+. You habe to aggro him. You cant lock on cuz he is friendly. Charge attack then backstab. Charge again as he stands or cannon his face point blank. Attacking beasts w in his view will piss him off too.

oh yeah I forgot to add that I approached from Graveyard of the Darkbeast lamp since the other two are disabled during the Blood Moon phase, and just ran past all the enemies.

Djura was definitely a hunter in the dream like us in the past. Henchose ending one and was freed by Gehrman. His final boss was some beast in old yharnam. He and the powder kegs probably played major roles in the hunt thst burned beast infested old yharnam. Powder kegs do deal with explosives and fire after all. He probably regretted all the killing and protects what was left of old yharnam.

one blunderbuss shot did it for me. but he dashed to the edge immediately after the fight started.
