It's not in Iithyll it's in Anor Londo from the Covenant bonfire after the courtyard of giants

That is technically still Irithyll, as you do not get to Anor Londo until the Anor Londo bonfire itself, and even then, all of Anor Londo is counted under the Irithyll bonfire category.

Painted World of Ariamas + Anor Londo = Irithyll

Awesome! I never got to buy shiva's weapons on Dark Souls because I always ended up accidentally kicking him off a cliff.

you do realise that if u kick him off a ledge then relog into the game the loot will be on the side of the edge? this is how you can easiliy obtain the ring of Favor from Lautrec as well. (might be wrong though)

You didn't need to do that. You can just kick his ninja friend off the cliff, quit and reload the game, collect the Darkwood Grain Ring from the edge of the cliff, leg it out of the forest, absolve your sins, rejoin the forest covenant, and Shiva (and his ninja friend, for some reason) will be at the swamp like nothing ever happened. I've done this countless times, as I have a Dark Souls addiction.

Just wanted to let people know on my current playthrough the easterners ashes did not show up, this isnt my first playthrough, I know where they are. I've gone back multiple times and tried walking around the corpse and looting it thinking maybe it was just not showing for some reason, and no luck. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Kill the Pontiff first, then try again
