I believe Deep is like a lower form of Dark. its like a lesser version.

Deep is basically chaos gem but with dark instead of fire

Deep is Dark damage but allows scaling. Dark infusion adds dark damage but negates scaling.

Never saw this much disinformation in a single comment

I know right, don't listen to those other replies dear reader, deep is the same thing as a fire gem infusion, adds dark damage and negates scaling in the same way a raw weapon does. Dark and chaos infusions add fire and dark damage respectively, but also allow the damage to be buffed by your current stats.

Blessed weapons heal you slowly over time, you can speed it up by rapidly switching between the blessed and a second weapon (worked on my PS4 Version, build 1.03)

you can only do that trick with sun princess ring by equiping and unequiping at a faster rate than 1 equip per second

does this mean that Astora Straight Sword is a blessed weapon
By Anonymous
#15968587
yes. it's effective against the skeletons because it has a blessing on it automatically.

If you mean Anri's Straight Sword, kinda. It's basically rocking a Blessed Infusion and a Hollow Infusion at the same time. As for the actual Astora Straight Sword weapon, it scales well enough with a Blessed Infusion but doesn't have any special traits in and of itself.

I just picked this coal up, then my Xbox one S crashed and I had to turn it back on and start up my Dark Souls III all over again. Is that a bad sign? Is that supposed to happen? Am I trippin? Does anyone here know?

If your game crashes while autosaving at just the right (or wrong in this case) moment, it can corrupt your save data and force you to start over.

Not to ignore OP, but I have to put it out there that PS is the best platform for souls games. It was always the intended release platform, the games are made for that hardware and ported over to the others, if you say any other platform is better for dark souls take it up with the devs. The list goes on, but From soft saying PS4 is the definitive platform should be enough reason to end the argument.
