Seems like 50% is mid-roll and 70% is fat-roll. It also seems that stamina regen is tight to the roll animation

So.... vitality isn't your hp anymore...? they couldn't of just added hp into it with equip load? that's kind of bad, I was going to stop at a lower level, but I guess I have to go over it by a lot, new meta? 125 really won't work anymore.

thats a lie Squeaky since on DS2 single stat use to raise your stamina bar and the equip load, now you won't spend 80 points instead of 40 like in DS2 that make people like soulbrand be happy for low meta so they can 3 shot you every single time, so bye bye med to heavy armor plus a big weapons since it be imposible on meta because of the req. So bring something cool to the forum next time without trolling.

It's been this way in DKS2 as others have mentioned. They have one stat for equip load and one stat for stamina. I've made lots of builds with low equip+flynns ring and high amounts of stamina, hence they are seperate stats. Check the other wiki if you're not satisfied.

120 Has been working just fine since people got to that level over a week ago. Im not saying it'll never change, but 30-40 VIT is enough to fast roll with most armor sets, and fat rolls above 50% equip load aren't terrible.

It's been that way since DSII. How're you just realizing this now?

I think it should stay at a 135 honestly. That's just enough to make some pretty outlandish builds.

It's been this way since Dark Souls 2... I know this for a fact because I just played it like last week.

Uurg. Why do you have to put so much points into this stat just in order to be fashionable AND practical at the same time xp

Because of how strict equip load is, I have yet to have more than 1 or 2 pieces of armor on the ENTIRE game so I can actually roll. I have so much cool armor, but the game is not balanced for me to use most. Ugh, it is almost a requirement to put all your points into this stat.

Em... What? I had some of the heaviest armor on my character and I managed to roll fine with around 25pts in this and havel's ring. The beginner armor for the knight is pretty heavy but he can roll fine with his base stats which aren't too high. if you have multiple weapons on that can be weighing you down.

But remember this stat also provides a flat damage reduction that is taken off before your armor's percentage absorption is removed from any hit you take.

Anything below 70% is normal roll, anything between 70-100% fat roll, 100+% over-encumbered can't roll.

Yes.After your weight exceeds 70% you no longer roll smoothly! So keep it under 70%.I always aim to mix my gear so that I can have max def skills with as close to that 69% as possible. :)By to way, using Knight class and taking the flame ember... you only need to boost Vigor, Endurance and Vitality. Once HP is 1000 you only need endurance and Vitality. Up grading the flame long sword increases damage a lot+ weapon skill to break guards etc.!!! => EASY Mode At lvl 50 my max. damage with all stamina is 1300.
and Unblockable
neat PVP!

This is literally the one and only issue I have with the game. If they would have just increased equip load by 2lbs per point I would be satisfied. Equip load is just way too important to ignore if you want to wear decent armor
