This is not the right thread for that feedback, but I see it anyway.
The site should not be consuming memory to the point it is heating up your laptop - that sounds rather strange. I browse on mobile and on my laptop a lot and do not see this effect. What browser are you using? Perhaps it's some sort of memory leak in one of them?
Alternatively if your hardware can't handle the anyclip video or such, are you aware you can pause them?

You can send me a message or find me in discord for further one-on-one help:

This site is so filled with videos and adds that it consumes to much memory and starts heating my laptop to a point where it feels so uncormfortable that i have stopped using this site and is looking for alternatives.
This is sad because it is a fine wiki for sekiro, but the amount of resources it uses is just to much and my fans will just turn to max as soon as i enter the sekiro wiki.
If this is the wrong place for this kind of feedback please redirect me.

I haven't gotten any further feedback on this so I'm moving the topic to site discussion. It's of course open to suggestions if anyone has any.

Can you be more specific about what is tiny? You can click anywhere on the field to expand it, and over the text to get the destination page. Adding clicks can certainly be annoying, but losing your mouseover and having to restart wasn't great either xD

Better for mobile, for sure, but ruined my desktop experience. Tiny menu for mouseclicks, and now how to click 2 or 3 times through sections that used to be a single click.

Our Wikis now have a new navigation! Sidebar mouseovers have been replaced with "Click to show" menus and offer an option to"expand all" for quick visualization of everything the navbar has to offer. A lot of this has been thanks to the input from user LeXtruX.

Desktop Changes:
  • Mouseovers replaced with click to show
  • Several categories can be expanded at once
  • Players can expand and close categories individually
  • "Expand All" feature shows all categories in one click, and closes all categories in one click

Mobile Changes:
  • Arrow indicating expansion has been added
  • Users can now scroll through the menu even if it goes off-screen
