I want to try up Dark Souls pvp, because I really really really regret not getting into it for the two years I had the opportunity to, and Dark Souls 2 pvp just isn't as rewarding to me. Do people still pvp, or are there certain times/days/locations that people are active?

Yes, they do. I've had the most luck (excluding the forest, because it's the forest) in anor londo (of all places, I'm thinking I got lucky) and the township. Timing is important, after school/work on the eastern seaboard and a couple hours after school/work in japan are your best bets, thats ~4pm PST for the eastern us and ~1 am PST for japan.

Well with the migration to steam on PC, I believe that PvP might be a bit more active there. Not that it's already active, but at least will get some fresh blood.
