how far is the range
same as pyromancy. not that high but good enough cause of the 360°
I have offered almost 30 eyes of death but I still haven't obtained the greatsword dance?
Well then you never offered 30 eyes, have you?
Now that the Gravelord covenant actually works this miracle finally has its time to shine! The slower speed isn't that big of a deal, especially when you can walk a few quick steps while casting to avoid immediate danger or turn your back away from fishers.
Well depending, if you're unlucky in an area that stretches out too far the enemy might not get hit.

Damage example (Crown of Dusk + Ring of the Sun's Firstborn on 42 Faith, Darkmoon Talisman):
Test target: Hollows in the Painted World

Wrath of the Gods - 657 (No change at any point during testing)
Gravelord Sword Dance - 656 or 657 (Occasional shift may depend on instability frames)
Gravelord Greatsword Dance - 834 or 853 (Occasional shift may depend on instability frames)

This was tested with Gravelord Servant +3, and do remember that it does matter. The difference of being top rank against nonmember is 40%. 10% of extra power for every rank plus the damage reduction of 10% for not keeping up the Gravelord name.
Since there's no Faith Requirement you could also use this on an Intelligence build for an AoE spell that they otherwise lack, although the damage won't be quite as good as on a Faith build. At 42 Faith and 42 Int respectively the MagAdjust is 198 for Darkmoon / 185 for Velka with the difference favoring Darkmoon the closer you get to 50.

I'd recommend using the spell in/when
A) Ambush situations, preferably in tighter areas.
B) Your enemy is downed from something (Wrath, Emit Force, backstab etc.)
C) Your enemy whiffs a big swing with a slow weapon.
Bottom line is, give it a shot. But only if you're determined enough to get those Eyes of Death and stay a Gravelord for the rest of time.

Test it before/after leaving the Cov. Apparently the difference between 3 and 0 is roughly 10%. Needs more confirmation
Note: You don't actually lose 40% damage when leaving the covenant, that's just Fextralife misinformation. Whoever wrote this article doesn't know how MagAdjust works.

Tested on a Black Knight with Thorolund Talisman:
+3 Gravelord - 385 damage
Not Gravelord - 341 damage

That's roughly a 11.4% damage decrease, NOT 40% like this wiki claims. Still, if you're running this miracle without being in the Gravelord covenant, you're probably better off using Firestorm unless you really like the aesthetic of the spell.
