I watched a video talking about Aldrich's ability to learn spells through his dreams. It also mentions that he dreams of a future where the world is submerged by the deep sea. In DS1 New Londo is corrupted by the abyss and in an effort to prevent it three sealers drown the city. Through the series we have seen the Age Of Fire dwindling to a certain end with the Age Of Man destined to topple it. Could the Age Of The Deep Sea be the next era that ends the Age Of Man by swallowing its darkness in the cold deep waters?

Thoughts?

Here's A Thread You Might Want to Check Out.

Speaking On Aldrich's Dream Of Deep Seas And How He Was Able To Make Miracles From His Dreams.

I Wonder If The Great Soul Dreg Sorcery Might Be Something That Came From This Dream of Deep Seas.

A sorcery that fires great dark soul dregs that have stewed for ages, far within the deep.

This sorcery is the highest form of Deep Soul

Some of the murkmen who rise from the depths are possessed by soul dregs, which have a grave likeness to the human form

Interesting To See This Given Human Dregs Are What Aldrich's Faithful Collect.

Dregs are the heaviest things within the human body, and will sink to the lowest depths imaginable

Thinking On The Dreg Heap And That The Murkmen Seem to Live There It Seems We Get To Actually Go To The Deep In TRC DLC.

Great link! I was liking the idea that The Deep Sea was a purging flood to drown The Dark Age. It makes more sense it is the Abyss itself to drown The Age Of Fire. What with Aldrich's dream being of The DEEP sea.

The Dreg Heap does seem the most likely place to be the Deep. All the Human dregs fall to it, all the destroyed kingdoms fall to it. Perhaps Aldrich made his followers collect Human Dregs to send them there to expedite the imminent flood of darkness. Thus realising his dream of The Deep Sea?

The Deep is simply the Abyss and Aldrich dream of the "deep sea" refer to the Abyss itself.
